About the Doctor

Dr. Frieder has been in private practice in Boulder Colorado for 23 years as well as 13 years as a chiropractic consult at the University of Colorado/Boulder’s Sports Medicine Department. He received a Bachelor’s degree in pre-med biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis Missouri. He has his board certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician and is certified in Bio-medical Acupuncture and dry needling.

Dr. Frieder maintains a family practice with a particular interest in the athlete, whether it be the professional triathlete, the golfing retiree, the new mom starting to run again or the young gymnast. He has a keen interest in the treatment of extremity injuries with a particular specialty in foot and ankle disorders.

Dr. Frieder integrates many techniques including hands-on soft tissue therapies, chiropractic adjustments, manipulation and physical modalities. He has always preferred a team approach to helping patients reach their goals and often refers for physical therapy, Rolfing, massage therapy, yoga therapy and Pilates. Medical, Orthopedic, Naturopathic and nutritional referrals are made when indicated.

Larry is assisted by his dog ‘Pig” who is certified in belly rub therapy.
