Over the past 100 years many chiropractors have developed a strong dislike for the work ‘Crack’, as in “Hey doc, can you crack my neck?”. These Doctors felt that we should encourage patients to use the word ‘adjustment’ instead of ‘crack’. It’s just more dignified. But really, some types of adjustment do often make a crack sound.
